TechFlock 2025: A Movement, Not Just an Event

When people say, “TechFlock changed the game,” they’re not exaggerating.

TechFlock began in July 2020, founded by ThankGod Maduka Kalu, CEO of Abia Tech Hub, with a vision to spark innovation and collaboration in the Southeast and beyond.

Held in Umuahia, Abia State, TechFlock 2025 brought together innovators, leaders, startups, students, and tech lovers from all over Nigeria and beyond. But it wasn’t just about the panels or the flashy presentations. It was about people. Community. Connection. And a shared hunger to build something meaningful through technology.

 The Energy Was Different.

From the moment you walked in, you could feel it. The buzz. The curiosity. The spark.

This year’s theme, “Tech Titans: Leadership and Innovation,” was more than just a tagline. It set the tone for every conversation whether it was on the main stage, during breakout sessions, or over a plate of native rice at lunch.

Young founders pitched ideas they’d spent months refining. Industry giants shared hard-earned lessons. Students asked bold questions. And volunteers? They held it all together, creating a seamless experience that felt professional but never stiff.

Real Talk, Real People, Real Impact

The panel discussions were honest and relatable. From "From Hustler to CEO" to "Tech for the Underprivileged Child," the conversations didn’t shy away from the tough stuff: funding challenges, gender gaps in tech, mental health, and how to lead when no one’s watching.

What stood out most was how human everything felt. The speakers didn’t just lecture, they told stories. They laughed. They got vulnerable. And in those moments, the room leaned in.

 More Than Just Tech

Sure, there were gadgets, demos, and data but TechFlock 2025 was about people-first innovation. It reminded us that tech is just a tool. What really matters is whowe’re building for, and why.

Workshops ranged from AI and coding to soft skills and digital leadership. And the exhibitors? A perfect mix of local startups and national players showing off the future, built right here, by us.

What We’re Taking Home

Inspiration: That push to keep going, even when the road feels unclear.

Community: We met collaborators, mentors, and friends.

Clarity: The tech space is growing, and we have a role to play.

A Thank You to Everyone

To the organizers, speakers, sponsors, volunteers, and every single person who showed up, you made TechFlock what it was. This wasn’t just an event. It was a reminder that the future is bright, and it’s ours to create.

See you at TechFlock 2026. Bigger. Bolder. Together.
