Right in the city of Umuahia, Flutter, a subset of Google, held her annual festival titled “Flutter Fest” on Saturday, 12th March 2022.
The aim of this event is to connect with local developers and enlighten them on the relevance of Google products and services while using Flutter as a focal point for helping developers gain access to Google products and services at a subsidized rate.
The event took place at Abia Tech Hub with speakers like Emmanuel Chime (ECR Technologies), Mr. Kinglsley (Flutter Developer and Freelancer) and Mr. ThankGod Maduka Kalu (Software Craftsman).

The speaker talked extensively about Flutter and its cross-platform capabilities. He also talked about reasons why it should be adopted for Agile development.

How to become a better Flutter developer
Tips and tricks on how to become a better flutter developer were explained in detail by Mr. Kingsley. He listed tutorials, documentation and getting a mentor as the prerequisite.

Google Cloud Services
Mr. ThankGod Maduka Kalu talked about Google Cloud Platform. In this session, he explained in detail the reason behind GCP and the robust services being offered on the GCP.

At the end of each session, it was followed by questions and answers. The attendees engaged with the resource persons on questions from all that had been discussed and taught during the event.
The Flutter Festival was informative and resourceful, as testified by the attendants. Not only did it guide people on how to improve their skills but it also gave them an opportunity to connect and network with a community of developers with similar interests.
